It is another end of the year.
In China, the most traditional festival always wait until the winter and the cold weather is going to disappear. So people began to expect that the festival and warm days can come back sooner.
Still, i have a very busy day, and finally survived from paper, job, and some other pressures.
And just in this way to say bye to 2008, it was a very special year for me.

Animals are beautiful people
An old documentary film named ~Animals are beautiful people~really surprised me during the whole time i was watching it.
The film maker might be the most elegant artist cause there seemed to be no intention to show how lovely and clever the animals are, but they really are!

gutter Vs stars
My mentor gave me one sentence as an encouragement:
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
Also as Schopenhauer said: when you are focusing on the detail of one tiny task or temperary end, it is necessary to jump out and see from the whole.(当你整日沉浸在具体的事物或细节上时，跳出来从整体规划的角度来审查，是非常必要的。)
anyway, maybe all of us will always be frogs in the gutter and can never get out, but the stars outside will also be there all the time, which will call for our determination to get out in any time.

about my research.
Just because something is 'obvious', that doesn't mean it isn't worth discussing more carefully.
Data envelopment analysis is a genuinely useful technique, one which has potential to inform the decision making process in organisations.
In order for a Ph.D. or project to be brought to a successful conclusion it is necessary to be focussed, but being focussed is different from having a narrow mind or a narrow range of experience.…The purpose of education is to keep a culture from being drowned in senseless repetitions, each of which claims to offer a new insight.
Focus myself on DEA literature, hope i can change to a big piece of sponge, can absorb more:)
